Fronted by Hugo Mendez - an integral part of the scene in Europe for the past 15 years - bringing overlooked styles and rhythms into record boxes and onto dancefloors across the world as A&R or the Sofrito label and producing numerous compilations for Strut Records as well as a host of projects on labels including Soundway, Jazzman and many others. The Sofrito parties are currently in their 13th year and continue to pack out clubs and warehouses in London.
