Girls Of The Internet joins the family!
Taking a soulful approach to dance music, Girls Of The Internet has garnered attention and excitement from the scene worldwide.
Tom Kerridge has been working behind the scenes in the industry for over a decade, working on various projects with different musicians and covering every genre that piqued his interest. He founded the UK label RAMP Recordings and worked closely with long-standing DJs, producers, and singers. His latest project, a collective of collaborators called Girls Of The Internet, is a creative expression of his love for dance music.
With steady releases of sticky singles, killer shows, and reworking the classics, they’ve gained the support and praise of tastemakers like Dimitri From Paris, The Black Madonna, Marc Vogel, and Gilles Peterson, to name a few. The debut single “When U Go” was released in 2017 on Luke Solomon’s Classic Music Co. while 2018 saw a collaboration with Peven Everett with the hit “Love Delicious.”
Girls Of The Internet continue to feed the funky fire they’ve built up; after heavy club rotation and tasteful singles and EPs, they released their debut album earlier this year. “SYRUP” features vocalist Heidi Vogel of Cinematic Orchestra, the legendary Linda Muriel - former lead singer of Brand New Heavies and Incognito - and other rising artists for a sound that’s both reminiscent and refreshing.
